Moving Culture from Bharat to Frankfurt June 18–21, 2026
What comes to mind when you think of India?
The shimmer of warm air over colorful markets teeming with life and vibrant fabrics, the scent of cardamom and sandalwood, music, and the clear, lingering sound of temple bells. You think of dance, of a culture rich in stories, of a sensory journey that touches all the senses. We want to bring a piece of this all-encompassing feeling to Frankfurt.
“MoCul – Moving Culture from Bharat to Frankfurt” will bring people, art, and culture together on the grounds of Netzwerk Seilerei in Frankfurt from June 18–21, 2026.
What drives us is more than just a festival: it is an attempt to forge connections—between cultures, generations, and worlds.
At Netzwerk Seilerei, we understand culture as something that connects people across language, origin, and borders. We know that many individual strands form a rope—but it is only through their coming together that strength is created.
India’s diversity is reflected in the diversity of our program: For four days, a cultural monsoon of music, dance, theater, and encounters will sweep through Frankfurt. Through this, we aim to build bridges between Bharat and Frankfurt and create a space where openness and shared experiences can flourish—India on the Main, where the Frankfurt skyline comes alive with the colors, sounds, and stories of India.
In the heart of Frankfurt, amidst glass facades and global financial flows, the Netzwerk Seilerei has been committed to art, education, and culture for many years, operating in a non-profit manner. With over 50,000 international guests annually and numerous partner networks, we see our work as a space for dialogue and active social exchange.
