They both have learnt under the affectionate guidance of Pandit Kamal Mallick. Troilee also took intensive taalim from Sitar virtuoso Pt. Sanjoy Bandopadhyay and now they are under the noble guidance of Sarod maestro Pt. Partho Sarathy.\n“Sarod Sisters” have been started performing together since childhood. They have performed in many musical soirees & got the blessings from the stalwart musicians and audiences across the globe. \nKala Sanskriti Pratisthan\, Gurgaon; etc. Recently she has played for the Sangeet Samvaad Radio\, Pune.\nTroilee & Moisilee both have individually got selected by the Govt. of India – Ministry of Culture for National Scholarship for their music. They received ‘Sangeet Ratna’ & ‘Sangeet Bivakar’ from Bangiyo Sangeet Parishad\, respectively. Troilee is the Gold Medallist in M.A in Music from Rabindra Bharati University and received the degree of Doctorate in 2020. In 2009 she stood first in both the competitions organized by “The Dover Lane Music Conference & The Dover Lane Music Academy” and “Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture”\, Kolkata. She is now an All India Radio\, Doordarshan (Indian National Television Broadcast Channel) and SPICMACAY empanelled artist.
